Why GameMatesUK
Exists
Every young person deserves somewhere they belong.
We created GameMatesUK after seeing how difficult everyday social situations can be for some children and young people, from feeling isolated and finding it hard to connect, to struggling with confidence or feeling like they don't quite fit in.
At the same time, we've seen the positive impact gaming can have when it's used the right way. We take something young people already enjoy and use it as a pathway towards confidence, communication, friendship and belonging.
Because for us, it's never just about playing games, it's about the connections and opportunities that come from them.
