Our Services
We provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging gaming space for individuals aged 6 to 25 with sensory needs, guided by experienced mentors. Our sessions are designed to support sensory regulation, build social skills, and encourage confidence through structured, enjoyable gameplay. Each participant benefits from one-on-one or small group mentoring, ensuring they feel understood, supported, and empowered while exploring their favorite games. We combine fun with purposeful guidance, making gaming a tool for connection, learning, and personal growth.

Our counsellors:
-
Listen with genuine care
-
Help you make sense of what you’re experiencing
-
Guide you in finding ways to cope, grow, and feel more confident
Sessions are paced to suit you there’s no rush, just time to explore what’s going on in a way that feels comfortable. We work with young people aged 8–21, offering support to navigate life’s challenges and build emotional resilience.
Group Sessions At GAMEMATES UK
At GAMEMATES UK, we offer small group gaming sessions as an extra way to grow social skills, build friendships, and boost confidence all while having fun. These sessions are a great next step for young people who have already worked with us in one-to-one mentoring and want to connect with others in a safe, supportive space.
What to Expect
Our Team Play Sessions focus on popular games that encourage teamwork and creativity, such as:
-
Minecraft
-
Fortnite
-
Fifa
Each group is led by a trusted GAMEMATES UK mentor and usually includes three to four participants. We bring players together based on shared interests, age, and sometimes gender if requested so everyone feels comfortable and included.
How We Match Players
We carefully match groups to make sure everyone enjoys the experience. Because we wait until we find the right combination of players, there’s no set schedule for when a new group will start. This helps ensure sessions feel natural and fun rather than forced.
A Note for Families
Occasionally, we might reach out about a new group that doesn’t end up running. While we do everything we can to avoid this, it can still happen. If you feel this could be disappointing for your young person, let us know so we can plan together.
When a place in a group is offered, we’ll hold it for up to two weeks before offering it to another participant.
